About

Statesville This Week is a free email for people in Statesville and Iredell County who want to know what's going on without scrolling five Facebook groups to find it. It comes out every Thursday morning and takes about five minutes to read.

What's in it

What to do this weekend, restaurant and shop openings and closings, one local deal, and a few quick hits: road work, city hall, anything you'd want a heads-up about. Every item links to where it came from.

How it's made

We use AI tools to watch local calendars, city and county notices and news, and to draft each issue. A person checks every item against its source and edits the issue before it's sent. If we can't confirm something, it doesn't run.

Corrections

If we get something wrong, we fix it on this site and say so in the next issue. Email hello@statesvillethisweek.com.
